Enbeam OS2 Singlemode G.657.A2 Oval FTTx Drop Cable Loose Tube 2 Core 9/125 HDPE Fca Black, part of a huge range of OS2 fibre optic cables fully stocked at Mayflex. The Enbeam external oval drop cable has been designed for installation in underground duct systems or direct burial.
The cable is constructed from a single gel filled loose tube, overlaid with water blocking yarn then covered with a High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) outer jacket containing 2 fibre reinforced plastic (FRP) strength members giving a high performance of tensile strength and crush resistance.
This allows fibres to be installed into the FTTH/FTTB networks from 1 to 2 Fibre core counts.
