Proven in Stadiums & Large Venues.
A stadium is two networks on one backbone. On match day it carries tens of thousands of simultaneous Wi-Fi connections, broadcast feeds to gantry positions and OB compounds, ticketing at every turnstile, ANPR on the car parks, IP CCTV across the concourses, point-of-sale in the kiosks, and digital signage on hundreds of screens. On non-match days the same venue runs conferences, exhibitions, concerts, school visits and corporate hospitality. The cabling has to do both jobs without reconfiguration.
Excel is specified across that brief. Cat6A supports access point density at crowd concurrency levels. Enbeam OM4 and OS2 fibre provide the backbone runs between the central equipment room and the gantry positions, camera PoPs, concourse comms cupboards and hospitality levels. Environ racks, from floor-standing to wall variants, secure the distributed equipment rooms that sit across a stadium footprint. Every product is third-party verified and CPR-compliant, installed to the 25-year warranty standard when fitted by an Excel Partner.
For operators and main contractors, the install schedule is the other constraint. Stadium refits happen in the closed season, between concert tours, or inside construction phasing on a new build. Pre-terminated copper and fibre, pre-configured racks delivered populated and labelled, and UK-assembled MPO for the higher-density broadcast positions compress the on-site window to where it needs to be.
