Excel Networking is pleased to introduce the Environ Racks Configurator, a cutting-edge online tool designed to simplify the process of selecting and customising Environ racks. This new online configurator allows customers to build a bespoke rack tailored to their specific requirements, ensuring a seamless and efficient experience of selecting the right racks for each application.
Richard Cann, Technical Services Manager at Excel, commented, “With our new Environ Racks Configurator, selecting the perfect Excel rack has never been easier. The tool takes users through a step-by-step process to build a Communications (CR Series), Equipment (ER Series), Co-Location (CL Series), or Data Centre (DCR Series) rack to meet their exact needs. Customers can also populate their rack with key accessories, including shelves, fan trays, and PDUs.”
These accessories can be positioned in a dedicated U space within the rack through the configurator, to assist with assembly of the rack at the point of on-site installation.
Richard continued, “To provide a truly immersive experience, the configurator generates a detailed 3D model of the configured rack, including any additional accessories, allowing users to zoom, rotate, and inspect the configuration from multiple angles. Additionally, a QR code feature lets customers view the rack digitally in situ, offering a realistic preview of how it will look in the installation environment.”
He concluded, “Once the configuration is complete, users receive a unique part code along with a comprehensive technical specification sheet detailing all selected components and individual part codes that make up the complete build. From there, they can reach out to the Excel sales team and place an order – all with just a few clicks.”
