Reducing environmental impact doesn’t stop at the warehouse. We’re continually improving the way Excel products are transported and delivered, using smarter distribution methods that help lower emissions while maintaining the service our customers rely on.
Cleaner, More Sustainable Large Order Deliveries

For larger customer orders of eight pallets or more, we offer delivery using gas‑powered vehicles fuelled by biomethane. These vehicles use a 13‑litre compressed biomethane (CBG) engine, providing a significantly cleaner alternative to traditional diesel transport.

By choosing biomethane for higher‑volume deliveries, we’re able to dramatically reduce harmful emissions without compromising on delivery performance or reliability.

Measurable Environmental Benefits

Compared with a Euro 6 diesel vehicle, biomethane‑powered deliveries deliver clear environmental advantages:

Up to 85% reduction in CO₂ emissions
12% fewer NOx emissions, improving local air quality
76% less particulate matter, helping to reduce pollution
