Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs)
An Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) is a third party verified document that provides detailed, standardised information about a product’s environmental impact across its entire lifecycle. EPDs follow the ISO 14025 and EN 15804 standards, ensuring consistency and global recognition.

An EPD typically includes data on:
Raw materials and resource use
Manufacturing processes
Transportation
Installation impacts
Operational performance
End of life scenarios
Total lifecycle carbon footprint
Why EPDs Matter
EPDs support:
BREEAM, LEED, and other green building certifications
Responsible procurement frameworks
Transparent comparison between products
Accurate whole building lifecycle assessments
Clear communication of environmental performance
Excel is developing EPDs for selected product families as part of our long term commitment to full lifecycle transparency.
You can download the EPDs if available, by viewing the product on the online catalogue and clicking on ‘Documents & Downloads’
